Gearshift Pedal

SAFETY FIRST: Protective gloves and eyewear are recommended at this point.

Removal

Remove the shifter pivot snap ring with snap ring pliers. Remove the washer.

Remove the shifter pinch bolt. Place a mark across the shaft and pinch clamp so that the clamp can be returned to its original position. Remove the gearshift pedal pinch bolt.

Pull the gearshift pedal straight out and off of its shaft.

Installation

Apply grease to the gearshift pivot. Install the shifter pedal.

Place the washer and snap ring on the gearshift pivot. Install the snap ring into its groove with snap ring pliers.

Fit the gearshift clamp onto the shift shaft. Install the pinch bolt and tighten it securely.
